Petja Plauštajner is an Attorney at Law at Law Office Plaustajner. In her practice she has gained experience in civil and commercial law by representing clients before the courts. She also holds experience in representing clients before administrative authorities. As an attorney she consults clients on investment projects undertaken under FIDIC contracts. She has wide experience in international arbitration before various arbitration courts.
After she obtained her law degree (diploma, “cum laude”) in 2002 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana, she started working as a trainee in the Law Office Plauštajner, run by assistant professor dr. sc. mag.sc. Konrad Plauštajner. Petja passed the bar exam in 2005 and became an attorney in 2007.
Petja is active academically and has given lectures at the Faculty of Management (University of Primorska), Faculty of Law (University of Maribor) and other various seminars with focus on international commercial arbitration, ADR and FIDIC contracts as well as civil procedure law. In 2020 Petja acted as a member of the final panel of the Slovenian Moot court “Students Litigation” (Študentska pravda) organised by the Faculty of Law (University of Maribor). She is also an author of various professional essays focusing on the topic of alternative dispute resolution, FIDIC contracts and profession of attorney at law.
Petja is fluent in English, German, Croatian and has basic knowledge of French.
